Have a 70 Chevelle with a rotted middle floor pan brace. One side is completely gone.
Ordering a new one to replace the rotted one.
Questions: What is the best way to replace the brace? What should the new brace be welded to?

I'm not sure but I think it's a bolt on.

The floor brace is welded to the underside of the floor.
