That was an awsome time. Thanks everyone for showing up...
You folks should have seen the ride home back up Bothell- Everett Hwy once we cleared Mill Creek. We had the tubbed Firebird against the 71 Nova that runs low 11's against the 67 Buick with the built 430....all running 4:10's against a 69 SS396 sporting a healthy 468. I think the fuzz is still looking for us...:D :D :D
Can't wait to do it again...:beers:

The boys and I had a great time meeting you all.
I put the car in the garage and I asked my boys if they had a good time, Trevor my oldest said with a big smile "yeah, thanks for taking us!" Austin my 8yr old said," We got to ride in the Buick, we got to see and talk about all those cars... AND we had BURGERMASTER!!!, it doesn't get any better than that!":hurray:

I didn't have the heart to tell him it does... besides he's only 8 LOL

It's awesome having enough cars to have our own cruise. Ben and I were talking about later in the season, maybe starting out on a Saturday afternoon in Clearview and cruising the back way through Duvall/Carnation/Fall City and end up in Issaquah at XXX for the Saturday night cruise.

Thanks for making it a great first get together!

Greg

Dang, I gotta get the rear finished up. Sound's like I missed out on a good time.

A cruise down to the XXX sounds great. My youngest boy is a root beer connoisseur (I had to look up spelling for that one) and is dying to go. BTW, While talking to Brett about his motor he tells me his 71 Nova has a 72' LS6 block in it with a 632 cam and 13:1 comp. It's an actual 512 block. That's pretty cool...

Anyway, Let's get ready for our next cruise and let's all keep in touch...

I'm jazzed! I'm going to take the kids for a ride to get lunch and scope out a big beaver dam I found at work on Lk Marcel over by Stillwater.

I could take the Jeep, but naw... we're taking the Buick!

I'll bring my camera next time. I've found that after I get the shots I want I give the kids my old camera and they end up with some cool shots from a different perspective.

See ya'll soon!

Hey Corey... We'll keep the light on for you! :D

Maybe this summer you can find time to make the trek.
It would be cool if you could get a couple other guys from the area to make the cruise with you.

Maybe the weekend of the Greenwood or Colby Car Shows?
Just a thought!

Well, I drove a long way north, its not too much farther south. Are there good burgers in Portland?

Oh ya there are good burgers. I'm really putting the squeze on a buddy of mine to get a 66, so if that goes through this spring maybe we could make the trek up for a Saturday evening deal. I'm sure you don't get very many twin turbo chevelles that show up, so it might be worth the excitement :D

The best way to suppress confusion is with ignorance.

I didn't even notice the thread was old until someone else pointed it out! I thought, good turnout, for what, but who cares since I wasn't there anyway. :)

So Mark are you going to start up TCSW???
Are you going to retain your TCNW status from a remote location?

Can you do both, or would that leave you all conflicted?:p

Jeremy,

Nope, I think they might be working on it now. 2 thursdays ago they adjuster said he finally had the estimate paperwork in hand.

I'm going to call him again in a couple days and see what the scoop is.
