I was reading up on the side stripes for the 68. Previous post I saw that for a black Chevelle if you ordered the optional stripe it was red.

If you did not order the option stripe what was the pin strip color for a black Chevelle?

I think the stripe could of been white too.

AFAIK, the pinstripes were either black or white. You could have ordered the D-96 stripe in either red or white for a black car.
