Can anyone tell me what the rotating assembly that the inside door handle attaches to is called? Also where can I get such a thing, aftermarket or GM? Mine are completely wore out on my 68 chevelle. The door handle twists when I open the door from the inside.

The Fisher body manual calls this a "remote control door lock". I would have thought of this a latch control, not a lock. Anyway, I have never heard of anyone making new ones. The best deal I have seen is to get the part from the rear door on a 4 door. They tend to have very little wear, and it interchanges perfectly. (At least it did on my '72.)
