How long does it take for the engine oil to go down to oil pan with 20-50 oil after being started ? Even after full operating temp. ?

illss Mar 2nd, 07, 1:16 AM Ive drivin it a couple of time after the recent oil change an it doesnt leak or smoke ! Nothing reads on the stick an i always assumed it takes 5 qts so i never checked my level after oil change ! Oil pressure is at 60-68 when cold an at operating temp it goes to 17- 20 in case that helps! If you have nothing, you must have the wrong dip stick, or tube? May son bought a BB Chevelle, and it had a chrome tube on it, and it was way off. I changed the oil again (10-40) an ima monitor it on a daily basis!:( | ||
