I've got a '66 Chevelle and was wondering how to remove the trim around the front and rear glass. Do I need a special tool? Any tricks to share? Also, I've heard guitar string works well to break the seal around the glass to remove them. Any suggestions for removing the glass from the car?

Thanks,
Jim

Try a Search...this has been covered a bunch of times.
You will need a special tool to get the trim off.
You can get one at pretty much any parts store.
Ask for a "reveal moulding clip tool"

the special tool to remove the stainless moulding is necessary. It unlocks the clips. The tool must be slid along the glass from clip to clip and twisted when it hits a clip. Be sure to put masking tape on the glass before using the tool to prevent unwanted scratches on the glass from manouvering the tool.
