My buddy has a 1966 427 fairly complete. It has an IP suffix code which is corvette. It came to us complete pulled from a 70's suburban. Currently tore sown and inspected. Has original intake. Heads are complete. Block has been sleeved. Oil pan and baffle plate are from 73 vette 454 I have. Someone heard he had it and wants to know how much. Whats something like this worth?
All replys welcome. Thanks Jeff

my buddy just sold a bare block 2 bolt main 1967 only 427 block on ebay for $4600 to a guy who builds them and sells them for almost $20k on ebay. I guess it was a pretty hard to find block. It had been decked too but the guy did`nt care, it was the casting number he was after.

I can see it going for 7K easily. Wish I had a 66 427 for my 66SS. I cant afford that kind of coin.

That engine would sell for $6000 to $8000 on Ebay.
