In my opinion, a chevelle owner loves his/her car because of what he feels for the car. Whether it is the monstrous 454 power of an LS6, the way the body's so beautiful, or whatever else may be the reason. He/She bought that car because of what the car means to himself, forgetting what others say or think about it. I frankly don't think it matters whether there is a matching numbers engine in the car or not, as long as it means something to you, that's all that should matter. We buy these cars (I hope) because of the passion we have for old cars, and specifically the most American of all mucle cars, the king of muscle cars: The Chevrolet Chevelle. In my opinion originality of a car doens't come close to what experiences and memories you've had with the car. I have a Non-matching number chevelle that i've had the time of my life with, so why should i look down upon the car just because it isn't matching numbers? I believe that's similar to saying a person is not the same person he or she was before he/she had a heart transplant. I would love to hear what you all believe is the true meaning of owning a chevelle.
