I have a 72 monte carlo and I am wondering just what parts I can use off of that on what year chevelle. It has a 12bolt rearend, all the glass, power windows, steering column, bench seat, back seat, Basically if some one could tell me what I can use that would match up with what year Chevelle, I would appreciate it.

Thanks

The rear end will fit any 68 to 72 Chevelles. The glass will fit 70 - 72 Chevelles. Same goes for the seats. If it has disc brakes, they won't fit anything. You may as well send them to me so I can shoehorn them into my 71 Chevelle! Only kidding, the brakes will also fit 68 to 72 year model Chevelles, and maybe earlier.

Though the rear is about two inches wider it will bolt into ANY "A" body all the way back to 1964! The brakes, and all front suspension parts including the steering box is a direct replacment in ALL "A" bodies back to 1964.

I believe the instrument panel is the same as that on an SS Chevelle, but I'm not sure. I have a 70 Monte. All the suspension and a lot of the interior. Save the wiper motor and stuff like that. You could use a catalog from a resto supplier as a cross referrence.
