Well it's been a good week. My brother called me late Sunday night to tell me someone had listed a 1969 El camino on Craig's list.
The description was as follows. "1969 el camino SS 396. engine in car, th400, 12 bolt, factory dash with tach, bucket seats, counsol, factory wheels. Been in storage since 1989. $3800 obo."
Well I've been bored since the Chevelle is finished and the other projects are in the body shop, so I hop in the truck Monday and drive to Tucson to look at this beauty.
It was as described ......kinda.
Long story short, it's in Phoenix tonight.

Thanks guys for your replies. I decided today to make it a twin of the 69 ss that I now have. My wife wants a truck and this is as close as she's gonna get.
His and hers. I should have it done by the Good Guys show here in AZ.
