: Should I put car in primer (pics inside)?

I don't know what I am going to eventually do with my car. I was either going to have the body work finished and get it painted or sell it. If I were to sell it would it be better for me to put the car in primer so it looks one color or would it be better if I left it the way it is right now? Here are two pictures of it:

A decent red-tinted Epoxy primer would increase the curb appeal.

You could go cheap, and only do the panels that need it. Kinda use the quarters to hint, red.

My thinking was if I left it the way it is right now potential buyers could see how good the body is (quarter panels).

I would like too see it in one color just so it looks better but then if I can find a shop to do the bodywork at a resonable price I just wasted money on the primer and more work for the shop.

Any other opinions?

A sophisticated buyer would probably prefer the "what you see is what you get" approach.

Others may think "boy, this just needs a quick paint job"

In other words, Is it going to get a frame off, or, "where do I put the key"?

Your call!

I agree with the previous post. I would rather see it as it is.It can be easier to see panel condition. plus most people who decide to primer before selling it usually dont put much effort into pre-prime prep. so the buyer would have to remove the primer and old paint rather than just removing paint before doing body work.
