Hey Folks,

Want to pick up a set of new gas shocks at a nice price from my buddy that he bought 5 years ago and never used. Just wondering if I should be concerned of any performace degradation since the shock has been sitting on the shelf. Thanks!

Gas shocks come with a wire or plastic piece that holds them in a compressed position till you install them.If that is still in place you should be good to go.
