My trunk lid sits up too high on the passanger side at the hinge, how do you lower this?

They way I was taught to do this was to open the lid and push up gently on the lid like you were trying to open it farther. This may seem backwards, but it is the right way. Then if it is too low then place a block of wood between the hinge and the trunk floor and pull down on the lid gently. Hope it helps
