At risk of sounding like a complete moron...HELP!!! how is quarter glass from a 70 removed? rich

Its not easy, it is a tight fit. Remove the rubber seal at the door jam, and the inner door panel. Lower the lower stops for the window, and then roll the window down far enough that you can remove the outer window fuzzy. Remove the upper limit stops from inside the quarter. Unbolt the window from the regulator, and then pull the window up and out. It will require some wiggling to get it out, but it will come out without any damage if you are careful.

drptop is right on.. Although you may get by with leaving the outer fuzzy on. Try not to cuss to much as it may take a lot of wiggling. Especially if your trying to be particular about paint, etc..

i got them out, but only because there are no quarters on the car. i just unbolted the regulator and arm and everything. they needed cleaning anyway. thanks for the help.
