: 71-72 Chevelle "Sport Mirror" equipped car owners... riskyvt Sep 29th, 03, 9:01 AM I need clarification on something, and would like to hear from owners of 71 or 72 Chevelle SS cars that have a PASSENGER SIDE paintable, sport mirror installed. Is that passenger side mirror mounted on the flat ledge at the top of the door (like the drivers side), or is it mounted slightly below the ledge on the steep side angle of the door? If someone tries to sell you one that mounts on the side, it would be incorrect..
