Hello, What would be the correct date code for a M20 june 13th car. I have been told the tranny's should be dated some where in the area of 6 to 8 weeks before the car. I'm looking at a april 18th M20 and wanted to check in with the experts to see if this was good information. thanks

A tranny built 2wks prior to the car's assembly would be about a close as you would want to go. On the other end, 6mo would be the absolute max. Anything in between will be acceptable. Thus, the Apr date would be just fine.
