I have about 1500 songs on itunes and they were scattered all ove my computer. I took the time to sort them by artist, album, etc.. and now itunes cant 'find them'. It asks me to 'browse' for them. i dont think i can do that becasue about 500 songs are asking this. I can NOT find a function to clear the library, and then search for all media so they will all be recognized.

Are you using a PC or MAC? If PC, are they all in your My Music folder? If they are in your My Music folder, you should be able to re-import your library in iTunes.

Personally I hate iTunes and use Media Monkey (http://www.mediamonkey.com). I also have a paid version of Winamp (http://www.winamp.com). Both are MUCH better than iTunes, in my opinion.
