We just put the windshield back in the '70. The two outermost pegs at the top for the molding clips are not there and the molding looks like it's going to be a little floppy.
We replaced some of them with screws but it doesn't look like we can drill the holes with the glass installed.
Did we screw up or is there hope.

I would try some kind of adhesive on one corner only, under the molding, just to see how it holds, and if it seems to work, then finish the job. Obviously, the next time you want to remove the molding, it's going to be more difficult. Other than something like that, the windshield is going to have to come out to properly fix it.
