I need to reclear some doors where I sanded through the clear. Can I just shoot more clear after scuffing the surface or will the areas where it's just basecoat look different?

if it's a metalic color then definately you'll need to apply more color before you reclear, the sandscratches will disturb the metalics when sandthrough happens. Solid colors usually will be ok without additional color being applied. Bob

Sometimes you can get away with it but to be safe always dust a little color over it. Sorry too little to late. :( Mike
