I need some help. I need a replacement passenger roof rail for my 72 Malibu. It is in the paint shop as we speak. I just found out this piece was nicely reconstructed out of bondo graemlins/angry.gif . Anyways, I have hit Goodmark's website, Year One, Paddock, Harmon's (one of the guy's at Harmon's is checking his used parts for me graemlins/thumbsup.gif ) and a few others. Once again, it is the actual sheet metal drip moulding that attaches to the windshield pillar. This is the part that the chrome drip rail moulding attachs to. Also, anyone know what the true name of this part is? Thanks.

That piece is likely going to have to be cut from a donor car. That area is referred to as the A-pillar.

Thanks Cam. It is not the actual A-pillar. This is the piece that is held on with 3 screws that attaches to the A-pillar. I believe the name for this is the drip rail.

Thanks John. I found Sloan's website and e-mailed them. They have some nice cars on their site.

No such luck with Sloan's. Anyone else know where I can get this part? I really need to get one to the paint and body shop as soon as possible. Thanks.

Michael,
Thanks for the offer. I ended up finding the part on an Arizona car and have it on its way to the paint and body shop as of late yesterday. I appreciate everyones assistance. This is the best web-site around.
