I am currently working on the undercarriage of my '67, it was sandblasted to see what we had to work with, and then we did the metal work that needed to be done. Sadly the underside started getting some surface rust again from the time it was sitting. My question is how should I treat this before I start to refinish? I am going to spray a self etching primer and then a sealer and then topcoat with I'm not sure what yet. I would probably go over it with some metal conditioner, but your not supposed to use that when applying the etching primer. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Steve
