Hey guys,

Getting ready to install my Glasstek hood on my Chevelle. The outside lip that sits down around the fenders looks a little long. Did anyone who installed thier hood have to trim this lip or possibly take the rubber bushings out keep the original hood from rubbing the fenders?

Any help or install tips are greatly appreciated..........

when I put mine on I ground the lip so it was flush (didnt hang down at all). i then put a layer of bondo on the edge to make the thickness uniform.

Thanks for the response Joe, thats what I was thinking I'd have to do........

Anyone else with any ideas??
