How well does eastwood rust encapsulator work and has anyone tried their new black color? It is supposed to be the correct satin black for underhood and chassis. Thanks

Are you talking about Corroless? A lot of people prefer it over Por 15.

I've used it on my rear window channels after grinding out the heavy rust. Two or three coats and it's sealed. As a test last year, I wire brushed a rusty bolt head that was on a fence next to my garage and gave it two quick coats.Been exposed to a full years worth of rain, sun, etc., and the finish still looks good and no rust coming back thru.Haven't used the black yet.Maybe I'll pick up some at Carlisle next Friday.IMHO I would use it. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/cool.gif

I sprayed it on the underbody of my Chevelle.
I like working with it much better that the POR15 which I have on my frame. It sands much easier, which I did before spraying the 60% gloss black PPG enamel. Came out real nice.
