Ive got a barrygrant road demon carb for my mildly bulit 396 and I cant seem to fit the open air element i have for the air cleaner, does anyone know of anyone who makes an air cleaner that fits cleanly, because it seems to hit on the secondarys and the choke.I know i could cut the air cleaner base to fit, but i really would like to have a better fit then that. thanks.

I have the same problem. Ordered a Rush air cleaner assembly from Barry Grant, but that didn't work either. The electric choke linkage is an after thought on the Demon's.. tacked on the side to interfer with the air cleaner base.
