Has anyone used the Crud Thug from Snap-on
I am thinking about buying it to help strip the body on my car, rust, paint and undercoat.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Yep
Snap on gets a pretty penny for that unit. Mac and wurth both sell the SAME thing.
Works ok in some areas.

The Crud Thug is basically a wire wire on a air grinder. I don't have any pics to add
Thanks for any info

Snap on gets a pretty penny for everything. The best thing I've bought in the last couple of years was a Blue Point spot weld drill. It's the cat's butt, and is half the money of a spotle. Cornwell just came out with a door skin air hammer setup that works pretty slick too.

Snap On does buy tools from other companies just having their Logo put on. The dead blow hammers are just one item that is made for them and everybody else. The thing to do is look around, and the Crud Thug was at the local welding shop.
