i just bought a running drivabl fairly solid 1965 with a 396 in it. i dont find any cars with over a 327. the owner says it is the original motor is this possible?

If it is a true Z-16 you did just hit pay dirt. DZAUTO Oct 4th, 02, 3:50 PM I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BELIEVE YOU HAVE BOUGHT A REAL 65 396 CAR THAT EASILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But if you did, then as mentioned, you REALLY did hit the jackpot. I presume that you don't know just how rare and desireable a 65 SS396 car is (the code was Z-16, and that is how they are known).
