I love these stripes but I have a 69 Malibu. Has anyone seen/done the 70-72 stripes on a 68-69. Im just curious what it would look like. Im going with blue and thinking white stripes?

I've seen whit strpies on a Hugger9Monaco) Orange 69. Its not bad but you can't just go and use a 70 stencile as it is contoured for the 70 cowl hood.

Now that I look at tinmans I just remembered I have lso seen a garnet red 69 with black stripes that came together in a delta. They kind of followed the scoop contour.

I would go for it. My 69 had them when I bought it in 82. It was my understanding at the time while not a factory option. Many dealers made this option avalible in 69. I just bought back my 69 after 15 years and I will be redoing my original striped hood and trunk!8) They look great from the drivers seat as well.

To second what JD said, I read that the stripes could be offered on 69's late in the year. Not sure about mine, that's how it was when I bought it.
