Ok, I need some advice...and I will do it with a poll. If YOU owned my 71 Chevelle what colour boxed trunk kit would you get?

My exterior is Dark Rosewook Metalic (Dark brown), my interior is a light beige/saddle type interior. Interior carpet is gold/beige in colour.

Should the carpet in the trunk kit i am getting be close in colour to the main interior or should I go with a gray colour or black?

Any straightforward opinions would be appreciated.

Where are you getting the trunk kit?

I had a car once with your outside and inside colors, and I cant think of anything other than beige of saddle that would look good....black or gray wouldn't do it, for me anyway. Even a gold or a dark brown would be better than the others.:confused:

I would stay with the same color as the interior.

I am getting the trunk kit from a reputable seller on ebay. He even took the time to send me his own carpet samples in the mail at his cost and has asked me to return them in my own time in good faith. I think he is a member on here but not sure.

I voted black, we tend to carry parts and tools in our trunks for who knows what reasons.Black tends to be more forgiving to grease stains and stuff.
My ELCamino was also that color originally from the factory,is there any chance you could post a picture that shows the color ?I've never seen that color chevelle or elky in person, only in pictures.

go with gray or black

In my opinion, when in doubt go with "BLACK" it is the cure for all. Especially in a trunk....:beers:
