1967 Kansas City assembled Malibu. Built July of 1967.
I'm assuming air cleaner, radiator, fan shroud, hood striker plate, core support, and inner fenders are all satin black.
Are the hood springs natural, or are they plated somehow? I'm thinking of going with flat gray.
Inside trunk area. Aqua/black, or was it Grey/White? Do they make a trunk splatter paint, or am I better off spraying one color, then splattering the other color in later?
Mounting bolts for outer fender. Are they supposed to be body color, or black?
Am I forgetting something?
Thanks!
Mike
p.s. seems I am missing some fasteners that hold the top edge of the grille to the core support. Was it rivited originally? Where can I get them?

Mike,
Mine is also a 67 Kansas City car. My grill is rivited and I'm sure it always was. Anybody know for sure?
The fender mounting bolts are body color.
The trunk for a 67 is Aqua-Black Splatter. All of the restoration shops sell it. When I did my trunk after cleaning I put down a rust preventative, then a coat of flat black, then two cans of splater paint, followed by a clear coat to water proof it.
My hood latch assembly is black but I've asked and have been told that it should be phoscoated which leaves it a grey color. Castblast looks about right. I'm not sure about the hinge/springs but have seen them phoscoated.
Everything else is satin/black or semi-flat
Hope this helps.

If "correctness" isn't a factor, do yourself a favor and get the rivets with the nut on the bottom. Available at: http://www.luttyschevy.com/pages/home.html
Those original type have to be severely pounded in and it's damn near impossible to do without ruining the grill/parts.
The rivets with the nut look factory from the top and can be installed/removed in no time.
