Just wondering....
I was under my car and noticed the #'s 13437 stamped on the side of the frame, but my vin and cowl tags have 13637. And no vin#, is a Baltimore Built Car.
Any ideas ?
Thanks - :beers:

Well , if your VIN is 13637 I'm pretty sure your frame came of a 300 deluxe chevelle, they were the base model with the 13437VIN , not the malibu which is the 13637VIN. I would have to assume you have a Malibu Car on a 300 Deluxe frame.

Does your car have any evidence of an accident where the frame might have had to be replaced?

You will find 13437 on other parts as well. It doesn't mean that your car isn't a Malibu.

I have a 13437 stamped on an original 68 SS door. I haven't a clue why or what it means.

The 300 Deluxe was discontinued after the 1969 model year. The base model is simply reffered to as Chevelle and shared the same frame with it's Malibu counterpart and the SS models.

On our '69 frame all I found was the manufacturer's numbers. It was a Baltimore built car.
