Can't get paint to stick! Prepped the old bezels with scotch-brite and wax&grease remover; masked the outside edges. Couple or three coats of Trim Satin Black paint (aerosol can). Next day removed masking tape and left a ragged edge. Scraped off anywhere easily with a thumbnail. Anybody have any ideas? I'm thinking about stripping it all off and using an adhesion promoter spray before the trim black, then a layer or two of clear. Getting a clean straight edge is really important up front on the grill! Thanks for the help!

Take the tape off before the paint is dry to get a smoother line. Use a decent light coat of primer, don't put on so much paint.
