sandblasted some of the trunk/quarter super structure and blew everything off really good. forgot to wipe down with anything. applied etching primer then dp90. whats the chances of this sticking? Dave

If you didn't touch it with your oily hands I would say you are fine. Matter fact even if you did and you don't see fish eyes I wouldn't wory. I like to hit whatever I blast with 80grit on the D/A or a clean & strip disc to smooth the metal out since it is pretty rough after the blast and the tech sheet says to sand with 80-180 first before primming.

I wish I could find DP90 around here it is all DPLF junk. Better stock up now!

After sandblasting unless I KNEW for a FACT that I got some nasty stuff on there, I NEVER wash it with anything. I mean, YOU JUST BLASTED THE COATING OFF THAT WOULD HAVE HELD ANY THING.

In fact washing BEFORE sand blasting is when you need it. That way you don't blast the contaminant INTO the metal. But Zach said, don't worry about it.
