Hello
I have a 67 chevelle with a 454bb and i am looking for some pictures of a 66/67 chevelle with Hokker Headers with 2"inch primaries... Is it anybody here that could take a picture for me? :)
Does the Hooker competition 2" fit well?

I have used Headmans with 2" primaries on a 396 with 454 oval port heads in my 67 with no fit problems. I tried to use the same headers on a 540" with Merlin heads and had all kinds of fit problems. If your using stock style heads, I wouldn't think you should have to much trouble. If your using aftermarket heads (Dart, Brodix, Merlin, etc.), be prepared to get creative.

I just installed Hooker Super Comp 2" coated headers on my 66 and they fit perfectly with no need to dent any tube anywhere. Only adjustment was bending down the passenger side collector a little bit so tailpipe clears trans crossmember (took about 30 seconds to do that). Changing plugs, of course, is a different question.

Here are my headers - Hooker Super Comps.... I hate the finish on them I am taking them off to get professionally recoated as this is right after I put them on last year (Car now has different valve covers, carb correct air lid.)

I had to seriously dent the expensive 2" coated Hookers on my 66 to clear the steer shaft (gm oval ports) and I know the difference between big and small block engine mounts. Looks like to me after 40 years, they should have resolved all issues by now.
