Does anyone know what size bolts are used to connect the frame to the shocks on the rear. I am working on a 72 heavy chevy chevelle. its a 12 bolt rear end and i am using kyb gas shocks. Like alot of things somewhere during the resoration the bolts for this was lost and now need to be replaced. any help would be appreciated

thanks

JOHNW, The bolts at the top are 5/16ths and probably a 1 or 1 1/2 inch long bolt w/a nut and washer. New ones are a good idea, who wants 30 year old bolts.

To add to Leo's response, I believe that the correct bolts are washer face grade 5 with a black oxide finish. Correct PN is 9423701 which is not currently available from GM. In '72 a lock nut (PN 9422275)but no washer was used.
