Hey again everyone, I am looking for prices on paint, the only problem is that I can't seem to find the color i'm looking for. It's a really dark dark burgundy purple, black cherry of course. The reason is because i have black rally II wheels on my el camino, and am going to put a black accent strip along the bottom panels, and i have a grey interior, so i need either a dark midnight blue, or a dark black cherry so the car will look right to me. I wanted PPG or some other high quality paint, can someone give me some suggestions on what brands of paint to use, and where i might be able to look for the color online and see what it will look like? for a good dark purple that practically looks black, try granite pearl. its a stock subaru color. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

There is nothing like rowing through the gears at 7500. Stick cars are so much fun they should be a controlled substance!

Our Peterbilts at work are all black cherry mettalic. They look pretty good. Might want to run down to the truck center and see what paint they use.

My 68 is painted black cherry. You can see it at the Chevelle club meeting Monday night 7PM at the Blue Willow Cafe on 41st street between Mingo and Garnett.

This is so cosmic. My wife picked out black cherry for our 71 Cutlas S, with a brown interior. Now to find the right paint at the right price.
