What is the best transmission fluid to use in a 1967 chevelle malibu with a 327 automatic. Thanks.

Dextron III Or equialent. B&M trick shift is a great fluid, but a bit pricey. I wouldn't use synthetics unless it has been run on them all of it's life, or if it is a fresh rebuild. I still believe it is better to break it in with non-synthetic, then change over after the break in period. Hopefully others will chime in..

Dextron III Or equialent.
1. Pretty much any Dexron fluid you can find will work--Dex III or whatever.

2. There is no "t" in Dexron.
