At one time, I understood the repo core supports to be made offshore, from thin metal, and with the mount brackets, holes, etc, NOT in the proper places.

Has anything changed in the last couple of years? I need a core support for my '68 'Camino with A/C, and I can't find an original that's any better than the one I have. I either need to spring for a repo or weld in considerable new metal to my rusty original. I'll fix my original rather than buy a crappy repo, but I'd prefer to buy a GOOD repo. IS THERE A GOOD REPO OF THIS PART? Where can I get one?

i got mine from npd (www.npdlink.com) and it fit very well. the only problem i found was that they didn't drill the holes where the wires for the headlights, horn relay, etc. went through. other than that though i have had no problems to date. good luck
