i want to prep by bed for a new liner, but I need to get rid of the 10+ years old spray-on liner that is in it already. How do you get rid of the liner,so I can primer the bed?

This may be a tough job. These Polyurethanes are designed to pretty much be impervious to chemicals. The only thing that comes to mind is heat. Try a hair dryer in a small area and see what happens. I would suggest that you EMail the tech departments of some of the "spray-on" manufacturers like Rhino or Line-X or Fabick and ask them. Good luck.

I have heard that aircraft stripper might work on these bed liners. Has anyone tried aircraft stripper in a case like this?

I always wondered what would happen if somebody wanted to remove a spray in bedliner, I never liked the idea.

I'm with you Ken! That stuff looks good but I would not use it, especially on an elky. My bed floor was beat up pretty bad and it's still far from perfect but I'm painting it cranberry red like the rest of the truck. Besides, how can that stuff stop a bed from getting dented? I think a real bedliner insert is better, or even a bed mat.
