is there any difference in the dimensions of a sagnaw steering box to any of the aftermarket steering boxs? would one gain any more clearance with one compared to another? thank you Mike

The dimensions are all the same. The only thing you pay the high prices on the aftermarket gears is for a pretty sector cap and a back cap.
