Maybe my question wasn't clear in the title of my other post on this subject. When I sanded some bondo off of a previous body repair, I found a lot of scratches in the sheetmetal that were left over from the body grinder. Any recommendations? What would be the best filler or glazing compound to use?

Randy, with deep gouges it's sometimes hard to treat the metal correctly and apply a filler without worrying about it down the road. That's why many folks recommend spraying on a self-etching primer, then coat with a quality urethane primer. The next step would be to apply a filler for the deep scrathes such as Evercoat's newer products or Rage. That way the 'filler' has a better bond to the metal than bondo. Hope this answers your question.

If they are deeper than a urethane primer will fill than try polyester primer. Both can use an etch under them (if the right polyester is used, not all recommend an etch).
