Parragon Corvette makes cage nuts, I believe they are about $10.00@. I have bought 3 of them to use on my '69.

why not elimitae the cage nuts all together. those cage nuts are pretty much the worst thing GM put on these cars. I have been eliminating them all on my 67 by welding in a piece of steel square stock throught the floor pan onto the floor braces. that way i can just throught boilt the body mount with two ratchets from top and botom. the carpet then covers the hole above the body mount and you could even make some kind of filler plug to go in the void under the carpet.

$10.00 each wow. Hillco Fasteners sells them for 75 cents each or $7.00 for ten. They have a fantastic catalog with tons of hard to find nuts, bolts, and fasteners for automotive applications. Their web site is http://www.hillcofasteners.com. The catalog is $5.00 (you get a $5.00 coupon to use on your first purchase) and is 275 pages with tons of pictures.

Trooper, the cage nuts from Paragon are expensive, but are exact duplicates of the old ones. I realize Hillco is much cheaper ( I have their catalog ) but I believe the cage nuts they offer are no different than the ones I can get locally from places like Brafasco. I preferred to spend the extra $$ for the correct piece.
I have also had these cage nuts for around 2 years, and had never heard of Hillco at that point.

Have you looked at a Auveco catalog? Check
www.auveco.com (http://www.auveco.com) & try to find a dealer with a catalog you can check out, or order theirs. A lot of their stuff is OEM.

BL,
I looked at their site and it looks like they only deal with distributors. How can a guy like me get items or a catalog?
