Will it fit? Just curious what it would look like. I remember the post about the fog lights & was thinking that this might be a way to intergrate them into the car as they have round turn signal holes.
Any pictures?
Thx.

I think I found a '70 Monte bumper for mine,I measured and did a side by side to one of my neighbors '70 Monte, they seemed to be identical to us,although mine is a little bent.Bolts are all in the same place.

I was thinking about the same swap. Place a pair of projector foglights and some LED blinkers in there and you are set.

I was thinking some turn signals in the lower corners of the grill, They would be hiden but you could see them when they were on. Just a thought. How big are the turn signal holes in a MC/EC bumper?

The bumpers are identical except for the turn signals. The El Caminos, Wagons, and Monte Carlos used the round turn signal bumper, chevelles used the rectangular turn signals. The round turn signals will plug into the Chevelle harness and function as they were intended to with no modifications. You can mount fog lights in them, but then you lose your turn signals. I suppose you could mount something like an amber trailer light behind the grill for a turn signal, not sure how it would look though.

My neighbors Monte might have a Chevelle bumper on it then,it has rectangular lenses.

If your neighbors Monte is a 71 or 72, i'm pretty sure it would be identical to a 70 chevelle, rectangular markers on those..

if you use a 71 monte bumper, it will have the rect. light, the 70 is round and 72 does not have a hole in the bumper. hopes that help.
