I'm sure someone has done this! I'm working on my 67 Chevelle. I removed the vinyl top. The quarter had been replaced about and welded to the roof about 1/2" up the roof piller. I applied lead to smooth the joint and fill the holes. Now I'm having a heck of a time getting the filler straight on the inside radius, that "reverse crown" where the piller meets the fender. I'm using a piece of 1/2" hose to back up my sandpaper, but progress is slow and it has to be "straight" when I'm done.
