What are the Pro's and Con's of putting a Chevelle body on an El Camino Frame? Does the boxed Camino framing outweigh the splicing?

The El Camino frame is a boxed frame like the convertable frame. The problem is that it is a station wagon frame about 6in. longer than the sedan frame.

you would have to shorten it in the mid section and the rear section. it is not worth it at all. but!!!!!! if you get a convertable frame it is boxed and will fit exactly in. you just need a convertable or elky crossmember and convertable fuel and brake lines.
