I think American Racing still make a couple of different style mags in those sizes, and Fenton Wheel Co. did to, but they have been out of buisness for many years, and maby Ansen slotted mags but I'm not sure about that.

Are they measuring them corectly? My guess is they are 7.5's & 8.5's and they are measuring the outside width and not where the bead is. They will probabally be ET's as they made a lot of "half" sizes.
Good luck & post some pics.

I think they will end up being 8.5s, cause I think he measured it from the outside, and there isnt much of a "dish" at all.
I bought them, cause the 8.5s are wider than what I had and I have a full extra set to sell now as well. Remy

the slots on my Monte are 9.5's in the rear, and 7.5's in the front.
when i got them, i thought they were 8's and 10's, but when i got new tires, that's what they measured out to. i think the actual bead width was 7" and 9".
i have no idea who made them or how old they are as they have no markings on them anywhere, but i think they are pretty old.

If the bead width is 7" & 9" then that's what the wheels are - 7's & 9's
If I am understanding how you are measuring.

ET slots will probably have the measurements cast on the back lip of the rim. I have a pair of 14 x 6.75's for the front of my '70 and I would have figured it was just me that was off a bit if I hadn't also read it on the back.
So odd sizes are out there!
