what would be the best way to fill the moulding holes in the doors and quarters on a 67. slap bondo or weld with small sheet metal piece behind hole them grind and bondo?thanks in advance.JIMK

Well if they are too big too fill with a weld and grind. cut out a piece of metal and butt weld them in place. Filler will eventually give you problems without proper support IMHO. Good Luck

The best way to weld them holes shut is to take some small flat pieces of copper, and place it behind the trim hole. The weld willnot stick to the copper and aborbs some of the heat. Also one other thing before you start to weld a good idea is to countersink the holes alittle. This will allow proper weld buildup even after you have ground the weld down.
