I just had my 70 SS chevelle clone painted and they put the front bumpers on a little off to one side. Is there any adjustments for them? Or do I have more problems that I am going to have to figure out.
Thanks for the great sire graemlins/hurray.gif graemlins/thumbsup.gif

There isn't a side-to-side adjustment, so they didn't install the bumper wrong. There's something else causing your problem. The two most common causes is that the front clip isn't centered on the frame or the frame horns are bent. You could also have bent bumper brackets.
You will need to make a careful inspection of the front end to determine what's causing the problem

I had the same problem with my 1969, but it turned out not to be the bumper. I determined that by putting the old one back on...had the same problem, but it didn't exist before. I had taken both fenders off for paiting etc and then had reinstalled them.
My problem was that the drivers side fender was not seated properly. It was out by about 1/2" on the bottom 1/3. So it looked visually like the bumper was moved to one side because it was closer to the fender on the drivers side. Once I corrected the fender alignment the bumper fit perfectly and no longer looked like it was moved to one side more than the other. Before you toss out the bumper or make adjustments to the brackets...check it out.

I have looked under the car and found that the passenger horn is bent. What kind of a pain am I looking at fixing it? the other side looks fine. I don't notice any odd play when I drive so I never thought to look at before. Does this hurt anything or is it purley cosmetice?
thanks
