Iam Going With An Eagle Comp Rotating Assy +030 , And A Soild Roller Cam, I Want This To Be A Hot Motor But Not To Radical For Street, And Short Trips , Would The 227's Be To Much , Any Suggestion's On Which Cam Spec's To Use , Rear End T/q Etc !!!

IMO, unless you're gonna twist that project motor to the moon, the 227 cc heads are too much...especially for the street. The 195's Scott suggested will be fine.
Need more info before a cam, TQ converter, etc recommendation...what CR??

i am building a 383 got alum 194 cc for 795 these seem to be good for 383 e bay skipwhite checkem out just a some good info their too :secret:

for a street motor, the 195 heads are really killer-i ran a set on my procharged 383, power was great

I have an older pair of AFR 190 heads on my 385 SB. I had it dynoed recently and with a large solid flat tappet cam I made 409 RWHP at 6000 rpm. Should be right at 500 at the crank. The new Eliminater 195s would be an excellent head for a street 383.
