Has anyone installed on of these after market Tachs in the clock blank on a Malibu? Not sure if its worth the cost to install.

Thanks, Pat

this has been done and written up on this site. I'm interested in it myself but I can't find the old thread. try using the search stuff in Perf and Engine forums, see what you come up with.

I use the one from shiftworks... works great. If you have the MSD HEI Pro-Billet, you will need a different "shotgun shell" for the guts, just make sure you tell them this if you do. I have a long story behind that one, it never worked untill they bought one of those setups and did their own R&D, they thought I was crazy because both tachs and all 3 sets of guts werent working, and I was proving that it was being hooked up correctly.

If I was to add this in addition to my Autometer shift-light tach (hide the Monster Autometer, of course) would it cause any problems with the operation of the Autometer Tach/Shift Light? Would be pretty cool to have that little tach and just shift by the shift light that would be hidden behind one of the vents.
