You Can!! I havn't tried it, but I've heard from others that it works pretty good. Mild Scratches (http://www.eastwoodtools.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=40011&I1.x=37&I1.y=80) Deeper Scratches (http://www.eastwoodtools.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=40030&I1.x=75&I1.y=28) They have both the kit, and just the buff and compound.
Best of Luck!

For mild scratches I have used toothpaste (not gel) it has a mild abrasive in it and can remove small scratches plus give your windshield a minty fresh smell :D

In buffing glass it MUST STAY WET. Optics in a windshield can be changed by buffing. Rhodite is a company that makes a rouge for buffing glass. Do a search or contact an glass company for a product.
Thanks for all the post and advice, this is new glass with two little scratches in it so I dont want to make it worse.
I will leave it before I do that, but if there is a sure way ?
I would like them out.

Stay with the mild stuff, and do it by hand- no power tools. I tried the aggressive way with Eastwoods glass polishing kit and could NOT get rid of distortion it caused.
Thanks for the tip DN . graemlins/thumbsup.gif

my local glass co suggested "Topol" toothpaste after my wiper blade came loose on the highway and scratched the windshield.
I never tried it, found it was easier to just trade the truck.
